Woodland Junior Show Team Is very excited to announce that they will be starting up a Beginner Show Team in the Fall.  Sadly some of our members are heading off to college.  We will miss them and wish them happy trails!  We now have the opportunity to start a new team.  So anyone ages 8 – 11 that are confident cantering individually and ready to compete are welcome.   We will post a meeting date in September in which we will be discussing what being on Show Team is all about.  We will also explain costs and expectations to riders and parents.  For more information please see  Michelle or Brittany. 

Equi- Lease – Woodland has started a great new program for students who want to ride more, socialize more or just have more fun with people who have the same love for horses.  This program is perfect for those who want to own a horse but are not ready to take that step, or for those who want to go trail riding, and even be able to ride with friends without an Instructor.  For more information please see Brittany.

On Going Activities at Woodland

Show Team - Show team for our Young Rider’s is an all year round happening.  If you are interested in joining the show team, contact Michelle or Brittany.  We are limited in the number of riders that we can handle on the show team, but Michelle and Brittany will try to have as many of you that are interested as possible.  Let them know of you interest and they will give you all the details.

Working Student Program – This is a fantastic program managed by our Ms. Lynn and is available for all of our students from the ages 8 and up.  She will train you and explain your responsibilities and give you the opportunity to work with the Best Barn Managers a Horse Center could ask for.  You receive lots of extra riding time based on the level of work or extra lessons.  This program is available for children and Adults. 

Adult Grooming Program – this is a super program for the bust adult that cannot commit to a certain time every week, but would like to spend more time at Woodland and with horses.  Again, Lynn runs an excellent program and will train and show you how to groom.  After your training session, you can choose your own schedule to groom and spend quality time with the school horses.
