according to their skill levels.

2012 HORSEMANSHIP SUMMER CAMP SCHEDULE:
EARLY BIRD- June 11-15: Cost $385 (Extended care $80.00)
Session 1 - June 18 – 29
Session 2 - July 2 - 13 (July 4 - ½ day; 9 - 12; no pm aftercare)
Session 3 - July 16 – July 27
Session 4 – July 30 – August 10
Session 5 - August 13 – August 24
Cost: $775 per two-week session, any additional week $360 per week,
Extended care $160 per TWO week session.
Hours: 9am - 4pm; extended care available 8am - 9am and
4pm - 6pm.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
A $50.00 administrative fee will be assessed if the camper withdraws from
camp before May 1. However, if the camper withdraws from camp after May
1, Woodland will refund only 50% of payments already made. Refunds will be
made as soon possible.
CONFIRMATIONS:
Confirmations are sent via email. If you do not receive a confirmation within
10 days of sending your application, please contact us at either 301-421-

HOURS:
Camp hours are 9:00 - 4:00; however, you may drop your child off as early
as 8:00 and pick them up as late as 6:00 for an additional fee of $16.00 per
day.
FOOD:
Although we do have a refrigerator, we recommend that campers bring their
lunch, drinks and snacks in a small cooler; please the label the cooler with
their name. We have soda, water and juice machines and water and energy
drinks may be purchased at the Tack Shop. Parents may also want to give
their children some money to spend at the Tack Shop.
DRESS:
Campers should bring their own helmets. They should wear long pants and
a hard-soled shoe with a small heel. Our tack shop has a special package of
helmet and paddock boots for $80.00.

- trot, posting & sitting
- control the direction of their horse
- canter
- jump small 6" jumps
- trail ride, weather & condition dependent
- be safe around horses!

- 1 morning & 1 afternoon riding lesson
- horsemanship lessons: daily care, horse safety, grooming, tacking,
feeding, etc. - interactive lectures
- arts & crafts

- Graduation Day show w/ refreshments starting at 1:30 PM

One summer I went to camp and I haven't left since then. My friends and great instructors keep me coming back. I have so many great memories here. ~ Therese My daughter has been attending Woodland Summer Camp for nine years and absolutely loves it. She gets a lot of riding time in a supportive, low-key environment and all the horse-related activities are a lot of fun.
